Western Association for Biofeedback and Neuroscience — Spring 2017 3 From the President Iam excited to serve as the president of the Western Association for Biofeed- back and Neuroscience (WABN) for the 2017 term. Our association continues to be the longest established biofeedback society to lead the way in our field—more than 40 years! We have been engaged with multiple professionals, educators, clinicians, and students to provide advo- cacy, high-quality education and training. Working with the current and past leader- ship gives me a deep appreciation for the many individuals who are dedicated to the professional growth in the mind-body approach. Such individuals clearly possess a fascination and love for the interface of technology and psychophysiology. The previous leadership had succeeded to en- sure that WABN is financially secure; this means that we have a stable base, which serves as a solid foundation for our future growth.
